Our Founder
Our founder, Amy Palmer Rowland, brings a wealth of expertise and a deeply personal touch to Where the Heart Is. Holding an active RN license in Washington State and a BSN from the University of Washington, Amy has dedicated over a decade to nursing in diverse fields including home health, public health, assisted living and long term care.
Inspired by the stories of resilience and resourcefulness shared by elders during Amy’s childhood, Amy combines this rich background with a B.S. in Psychology from San Diego State University. This unique blend of experience and education fosters an empathetic, holistic approach to client care.
Amy, is a dedicated realtor with a focus on providing exceptional service to individuals navigating the complexities of home ownership. Since 2023, Amy has specialized in helping clients with unique needs, earning the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation to better serve seniors and those facing age-related challenges.
As a proud member of the Ben Kinney Real Estate team, powered by PLACE, Amy brings a wealth of expertise and a compassionate approach to every transaction. Raised on the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii and with strong ties to the Pacific Northwest since 2007, Amy proudly calls Kirkland home. Talk therapy
Online or in-person, this is designated for individuals to process and explore their thoughts. Typically, meetings are weekly or bi-weekly.

Psychiatric session
Online or in-person, this time will be spent evaluating your physical and mental health to provide medication to alleviate mental health symptoms. This does not include talk therapy.
45 mins | $250 | Get started
Coaching session
Online or in-person, this session will help you with what you care most about and develop a plan to achieve personal and professional goals.
50 mins | $200 | Get started
Acupuncture session
In-person only, this session helps alleviate pain and treat various physical, mental, and emotional conditions.
